Xavier Verdaguer was the protagonist yesterday Tuesday 14 December of a new edition of the Dialogues between entrepreneurs of the TecnoCampus, some sessions in which it wants to present the experience of people who have created his own company. This time Iván Ramírez, from the company unlock, based at the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme, was responsible for presenting Verdaguer and raising a dialogue on the main obstacles and challenges faced by an entrepreneur.
Verdaguer, who already has a long career (he explained that he has already created seven companies, the first with 25 years) said that "the entrepreneur, in addition to creating his own job, which is not a small thing in time of crisis, you have to have fun with what you do. " He therefore recommended choosing to create a company what we like best, because then we will dedicate a lot of time and a lot of energy to it.
About his experience in Silicon Valley, where he has lived for a few months and where he has created his last company (Innovalley), Verdaguer pointed out that "what you learn in the US is that the relationship with investors is very fluid, that everyone is very accessible and that both failure, which is seen as a preliminary step to success, and the success itself , they are very well received ". Verdaguer explained how he experienced the .com crisis in 2001: "I went bankrupt, and if I went ahead it's for the team; I realized it's the most important thing in a company."
Finally, Verdaguer encouraged attendees, many of them entrepreneurs, to visit this area of California if they have a truly original idea and particularly if it is in the areas of technology applied to social media, biotechnology or renewable energy.
