Teaching Staff and Associate Researcher (Associate PDI)

Call for selection of part-time associate PDI for the following field of knowledge:

SCIENCES OF HUMAN NUTRITION AND DIET

For teaching the following subjects:
 

  • Deontology, bioethics and food legislation.

FUNCTIONS TO BE DEVELOPED:

  • Teaching of subjects in the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Elaboration of the teaching plan of the subject in the mentioned field.
  • Participation in the institution's own tasks as an associate PDI.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or graduate in Food Science and Technology and Human Nutrition and Dietetics, (You must clearly specify this in the CV and provide the scanned degree).
  • Teaching experience in the subject area of ​​the call for a minimum of 6 months (This must be clearly specified in the CV and will be proven by means of a teaching certificate issued by the center where it was carried out).
  • Have a main work activity other than eventual teaching at TecnoCampus. (This requirement will be verified and the contract will not be formalized if it is not fulfilled).

VALUABLE ASPECTS OF THE CV:

The CV of people who meet the essential requirements and who have therefore been admitted to participation will be assessed. The maximum score will be 60 points.

  • University teaching experience of more than half an academic year. (It must be specified clearly in the CV and it will be certified by means of a teaching certificate issued by the university where it was carried out). Max. 15 points
  • Specific training in the field subject to the call (This must be clearly specified in the CV). Max. 15 points
  • Mastery of the Moodle environment. Max. 10 points
  • Be in possession of a Doctor's degree. (You must specify this clearly in the CV and provide the scanned title). Max. 5
  • AQU / ANECA accreditation. (It must be clearly specified in the CV and provide the scanned accreditation). Max. 5 points
  • Research in the subject area of ​​the call (This must be clearly specified in the CV). Max. 5 points
  • Competence in the English language. Ability to teach classes in English. (A valid official title must be provided. Max. 5 points

ASPECTS VALUABLE IN THE INTERVIEW:

Those people who exceed 40 points in the CV assessment phase will be called for an interview. The maximum score will be 40 points.

  • CV presentation by the candidate.
  • Interview of the selection committee with the candidate.
  • Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English, spoken and written.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Contract as a part-time associate professor (<20 ECTS).

ORIENTATIVE CALENDAR

  1. Ad Post:  8/4/2024
  2. Submission of applications until: 28/4/2024 extended until 5/5/2024
  3. Forecast publication list of those admitted and excluded from participation: between 29/4/2024 and 6/5/2024 between 6/5/2024 and 13/5/2024
  4. Assessment of accepted candidates by the selection committee from second third week of May 2024. Candidates who make it to the interview stage will be notified of the date of the interview by email or phone.
