Technical Management, Administration and Services Staff (PTGAS)

Given the need to fill the position of TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY SUPPORT TECHNICIAN under the Technology department, the present selection process for technical management, administration and services personnel is being announced.

FUNCTIONS TO BE DEVELOPED:

  • Know and operate laboratory machinery and ensure its proper use. 
  • Carry out maintenance of machine tools (lathe, milling machine, CNC, etc.) and laboratory machinery in general. 
  • Maintain stock control and process orders for material and equipment for technology laboratories. 
  • Carry out tasks of preparation, maintenance and order of laboratory spaces and their machinery, including support in the maintenance of computer equipment related to the machinery, inventory control and management of devices on loan or in disuse. 
  • Provide technical support to the teaching staff in planning teaching in technology laboratories. 
  • Provide technical support to the teaching staff in the development of planned activities in the classroom-laboratory. 
  • Assist and provide technical support to user personnel in queries and incidents related to laboratories within their area of ​​competence. 
  • Carry out training activities related to laboratory equipment or procedures when necessary. 
  • Collaborate in the development of technical tools and procedures linked to projects or actions in their field, under supervision. 
  • Detect needs and resolve incidents in relation to technology laboratories. 
  • Propose improvements regarding the operation and use of technology laboratories. 
  • Execute and verify the tasks of the preventive and corrective maintenance plan for laboratory equipment, according to established instructions and protocols. 
  • Collaborate in the organization of events organized by Tecnocampus related to its technical field, both inside and outside the facilities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum academic qualification of higher education, vocational training or similar or its equivalent in accordance with current educational legislation. (This must be certified with the official qualification).

VALUABLE ASPECTS:

Only the CV of people who meet the essential requirements and who have therefore been admitted to participation will be assessed. The selection committee will evaluate the merits of the candidates presented based on the following scoring scales, which will be able to obtain a maximum score of 115 points.

a) Curricular assessment (up to 60 points).

  1. Specific training in knowledge of mechanics and basic electricity. (Must be certified with the official qualification or receipt of payment for the official qualification). Max. 15 points
  2. Experience in  the management of mechanics laboratories. (It is necessary to specify in the CV the place of work and main activities carried out in each company). Max. 10 points 
  3. Experience in  maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment. (You must specify in the CV the place of work and main activities carried out in each company). Max. 15 points 
  4. Accreditation of the level of proficiency (C1) in Catalan. Max. 5 points
  5. English language competence. Max. 5 points
  6. Other merits. The committee may assess other elements of the curriculum that it deems appropriate. Max. 10 points

b) Prior contractual relationship with TecnoCampus (up to 15 points).

PERSONAL INTERVIEW (up to 40 points). 

Only candidates who have passed the 40 points in the CV assessment phase + previous contractual relationship with TecnoCampus will be invited to an interview.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Indefinite employment on a full-time basis and with provision for immediate incorporation.
  • The professional group is technical.  with category B2  according to the current TecnoCampus labor agreement. 
  • Wages  annual gross of €28.295
  • 37,5 hours a week.
  • 28 days of vacation per full year.

  • Forecast publication list of those admitted and excluded from participation: between 08/06/2026 and 15/06/2026
  • Interviews starting in the first half of July. Finalist candidates who advance to the interview phase will be notified of the interview date by email or telephone.
