Grants and scholarships

Below you will find information on all the scholarships available for those students who want to participate in an international mobility program:

In the call for scholarships 2023-24 the EU scholarship (Erasmus +).

The scholarship amounts will be the following:

  • Group 1 (€350 / month): Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Norway and Sweden. (Associated countries region 14)
  • Group 2 (€300 / month): Germany, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands and Portugal. (Associated countries region 5).
  • Group 3 (€250 / month): Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Estonia, Slovenia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Serbia and Turkey. 

* Students who during the previous academic year were beneficiaries of the Ministry's general scholarship will receive an extra grant of € 250 / month. 

In order to receive the scholarship you do not have to submit any extra application, with the acceptance of the place TecnoCampus will make the application on your behalf. Remember that it is mandatory to submit the requested documentation in order to receive payment.

If you are awarded an exchange place at a university participating in the Erasmus + program, you can apply for this grant.

Through this scholarship program, Banco de Santander complements the Erasmus + program 

Grant amounts:

  • 125 scholarships of €1.000 each: Erasmus+ students who have the best academic records and who received a general scholarship from the MECD in the previous year or have a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
  • 1.750 grants of €500 each.

Requirements

  • Be a student of an official degree either at UPF or one of its affiliated centres.
  • Have been selected as an exchange student for the 2023/24 academic year at a university participating in the Erasmus+ program.
  • Have an average mark of participation in the ordinary call for international mobility 2023/24 equal to or greater than 6.5 (6 for engineering).
  • The academic mobility stay offered must be at least 3 months.

How and when to apply

Eligible students must register at Santander scholarship portal, before March 19, 2024 to qualify for the scholarship.

This grant is compatible with other scholarships.

Deadline: The submission deadline is one month from the day after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Amount *: 200 euros per month according to the length of stay (maximum six months).

The purpose of the scholarships is to partially cover the costs of students receiving exchange and mobility places during their stay at universities with which the TecnoCampus has signed bilateral agreements outside Europe.

The total amount to be distributed is $20.000 sponsored by Sabadell Consumer Finance (SAU) and TecnoCampus.

In Erasmus Mobility for internships there is a maximum of 3 months (not cumulative to the previous ones). The grants are:

  • Group 1: 460 € / month
  • Group 2: 410 € / month
  • Group 3: 360 € / month

The final amounts of the scholarships will be established according to the actual duration of the physical mobility activities. In any case, it will be financed for a maximum of 5 months, based on the amounts in the following table:

* Those to be consideredstudents with fewer opportunities would be students who have enjoyed a general scholarship from the MECD or a scholarship from the Department of Education of the Basque Country to complete their university studies during the previous year or students who have a legally recognized disability of the same degree or higher than 33%.

Students with fewer opportunities will also receive a travel grant, based on mileage and according to the following table:
