Degree in Computer Science (1991) with a degree (1992) from the Faculty of Computer Science of Barcelona (FIB) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Doctor (2012) from the UPC. I did my doctoral research in the field of biometrics and, more specifically, in the field of recognition (identification and verification / authentication) of people from online handwriting. I have published in this field of knowledge. From 1991 to 1995 I was an associate professor (types 2 and 3) at the UPC, attached to the FIB and the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB). Since 1995 I have worked at the Polytechnic University School of Matarò (EUPMT), later incorporated into the Mataro-Maresme TecnoCampus (TCMM) and reconverted into the TecnoCampus Polytechnic University Higher School (ESUPT). During the 1997-98 academic year, I combined teaching at the EUPM with the management of its Computer and Telematics Service (SIT). During the academic years 2000/01, 2001/02, 2002/03 and 2003/04 I was Director of the Department of Informatics and Management (DIG) of the EUPMM. I have taught mostly, but not exclusively, in the field of algorithms and programming.
