Description of the academic, research and / or professional profile

Ivette Fuentes holds a doctorate in Economics, Law and Business from the University of Girona, a master's degree in Economic History from the University of Barcelona and a DEA in Applied Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is currently researching the determinants of entrepreneurship in Mexico and the effects on regional development. She is a professor at ESCSET (Pompeu Fabra University). His main area of research is the analysis of the determinants of entrepreneurship with a special focus on microeconometric analysis and on the patterns shown by entrepreneurship in the long term. Ivette also has interests in other branches of Applied Economics such as over-education and its effects on the labor market. He has also published several articles on logistics, technological innovations and business organization.
