SMEs are identified as key players in the economic recovery and are significant drivers for achieving the growth and employment objectives established in the Single Market Program (SMP) and can positively affect the regional transition towards a more socially and environmentally sustainable economy . Catalan SMEs face real and urgent challenges to integrate sustainability into their business strategy due to a lack of knowledge and resources.

The general objective of ATLAS (Allies for the Transition of business models towards sustainability) is to help the associated SMEs and influence their business model towards sustainability, improving the interaction with key players with experience and skills complementary ATLAS aims to provide 2 SMEs, Colibri and CITSALP with advisory and training services in improving innovation management capabilities to improve social and environmental sustainability performance and knowledge on sustainable business models, covering most of the SDGs and leveraging the expertise of NGOs/CSOs to help SMEs transition to more sustainable business models

ACCIÓ, an experienced entity of the Enterprise Europe Network for business competitiveness, together with SBC, a non-governmental social organization, and TecnoCampus, a foundation supporting the company and the circular economy and innovation, will guide Colibri and CITSALP on its journey towards a sustainable business transition. Following the "Hub and Spoke" principle, the consortium will interact with various regional actors in various ways to maximize the impact of sustainability advisory and capacity building services and to contribute to promoting the benefits of sustainable business models . among SMEs.

The total budget of the ATLAS project amounts to €106.649,34, of which TecnoCampus executes €21.419,01. 

This project is financed by the European Commission, COSME program, call for Sustainability Partnerships for SMEs adopting more sustainable practices (SMP-COSME-2021-SPP).
