Ethics Committee

The development of research may require the processing of personal data or biological samples of people, animal experimentation or the use of biological agents among others and must not only comply with current legislation, but also with ethical principles. 

 

With the social responsibility of promoting a scientific culture that is respectful of human rights, human dignity and fundamental freedoms, TecnoCampus has the Ethics Committee, a collegiate and independent body made up of: 

a) The Data Protection Officer of the Tecnocampus Foundation. 

b) An expert on bioethics. 

c) An expert in research methodology from the Tecnocampus Polytechnic School. 

d) An expert in research methodology from the School of Social Sciences and the Tecnocampus Company. 

e) An expert in research methodology from the Tecnocampus School of Health Sciences. 

 

The main objectives of the Ethics Committee are to: 

a) Guarantee the fundamental bioethical principles of the participants in research projects linked to Tecnocampus. 

b) Ensure compliance with the confidentiality of data and in general the legality of Tecnocampus research projects. 

c) Guarantee the methodological rigor of Tecnocampus research projects. 

The ethics committee currently consists of the following members:
