ACA grants 2023/2024

ACA scholarships are announced in January of each year, and can be applied for by students already enrolled in the current academic year. The next call is scheduled for January 2025.

On January 16, 2024, it was published in DOGC number 9080, RESOLUTION REU/34/2024 of January 8 was published, which opens the call for the award of grants to university students of affiliated centres (ACA 2023/2024).

The aim of these grants is to help cover part of the costs of university registration for students who attends official studies degree in the affiliated teaching centers specified in the call, among which is TecnoCampus. 

This call is funded by the General Directorate of Universities (DGU) of the Department of Research and Universities.

Students enrolled in official university degree studies in one of the affiliated centers specified in the call, among which is TecnoCampus. Students must meet the academic and financial requirements detailed in the call.

Excluded from these grants are students undertaking or coming from the following studies/tracks:

  • Master's, postgraduate, specialization courses and own degrees recognized by universities.
  • Access route established for over 25, 40 and 45 years old.
  • University graduates (or other equivalent studies) or who meet the legal requirements for the issuance of a degree, bachelor's degree, engineering or architecture degree or other equivalent degrees.
  • Students who have passed all the subjects provided for in the corresponding study plan and for whom only the final thesis is pending, at the beginning of the course that foresees the call.

You only have to present documentation, which you must attach to the application form, in the cases specified in the call. You can consult the information in this link to the AGAUR website. 

Call for academic year 2023-24: The deadline to submit the application is from January 23 to February 22, 2024 at 14:00 p.m (Barcelona local time), both included.


On 22/4/2024, an incident was detected on the Tràmits Gencat platform that affects online processing services:

  • Download/view HTML forms with/without identification
  • Process forms with/without identification
  • Receive registration receipt

This means that the ACA aid form cannot be downloaded or submitted. Given that today was the last day of the deadline, by regulation this deadline must be extended by 3 consecutive working days (Saturday does not count as a working day). So, the deadline will now be February 27 at 14 p.m.

The application must be submitted electronically, through the portal gencat procedures of the corporate headquarters of the Generalitat de Catalunya and it is mandatory to use the specific form for this procedure. 

This procedure can only be done online and has a specific form which you should use. If you mistakenly use the generic request, it will be considered that you have not submitted the form.

The use of the specific form is mandatory and, therefore, failure to comply with this requirement will result in the application being deemed not submitted, in accordance with article 66.6 of the Law 39/2015, of 1 October

You can check the status of the procedure in the following places:

  • Private area (with the Mobile idCAT or the valid digital certificate) if you are a natural person.
  • State of my management (with the identifier of the procedure that you will find in the slip of the ACA aid application for the 2023-2024 academic year completed and with your DNI/NIF).

The maximum deadline for resolving applications is six months from the publication of the call in the DOGC.

The grant award decision is notified through its publication in Electronic board of the Administration of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

In order to spread it more widely, and for informational purposes, it is also communicated through the portal "gencat procedures" and on the AGAUR website. The concession resolution must indicate the resources that can be brought against it.


Against the grant granting resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, you can file the following appeals:

  • An optional appeal for replacement within one month from the day after the publication of the resolution in Electronic board of the Administration of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
  • Directly an administrative contentious appeal before the corresponding administrative contentious court of Barcelona within two months from the day after the publication of the resolution in Electronic board of the Administration of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

Against the resolution of inadmissibility or withdrawal, which does not exhaust the administrative route, you can file an appeal within one month from the day after the resolution is published in Electronic board of the Administration of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
