Internships

• Availability of students who have been trained in the university schools of the TecnoCampus, located in a technology and innovation park.
• The chance to detect new talent

• The company publishes the offer and freely selects the student who is interested in the offer, we do not have exchange of CVs.

Companies that request extracurricular educational cooperation agreements or renewals of extracurricular agreements must pay the management fee for educational cooperation agreements of € 100 (+ VAT), approved by resolution of the General Directorate of TecnoCampus number 54 / 2019 which you can see here

However, the following exemptions will be made in the payment of the fee:

• Companies that have a current lease agreement with the Tecnocampus Foundation or that have a current contract as a member of the TCM Pass collective.
• Non-profit organizations and organizations.
• Public administrations, entities and public bodies dependent on them.

In the event that the student unsubscribes from the educational cooperation agreement unilaterally during the first 15 days from the start of the internship, the previous fee will not be charged to the company.

• Curricular internships: These are internships with academic recognition. The student must be enrolled in the internship subject. (These internships are subsidized by affiliation to Social Security and exemption from the payment of the management fee for educational cooperation agreements).

• Extracurricular internships: These are internships without academic recognition but which provide experience. (These internships are not subsidized by affiliation to Social Security and must pay TecnoCampus the management fee for educational cooperation agreements).

Students enrolled inSchool of Social and Business Sciences (ESCSET) and thePolytechnic School (ESUPT). For internships at the School of Health Sciences (ESCST) you must contact the school directly at mromeu@tecnocampus.cat

• Students of the School of Social and Business Sciences: students can start the internship when they have passed 30 ECTS of the degree (from the third term of the first year)
   
• Students of the Polytechnic School: students can start the internship when they have passed 60 ECTS of the degree (all first year passed)
   
• Students of the School of Health Sciences: for the practices of the Higher School of Health Sciences (ESCST) you must contact the school directly.

Internships at the Tecnocampus are not compulsorily remunerated, except Engineering studies(Industrial and Automatic Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and Management Computer Engineering and Information Systems).

In the event that the internships are remunerated (in any degree), the company establishes the remuneration to be received directly with the student (in concept of aid to studies) and makes the payment directly to the student. The aid has a minimum withholding tax of 2% and theobligation for the company to include students in the General Social Security Scheme (In the case of curricular internships, registration and settlement has a 100% Social Security bonus).

Reminder for internships in engineering studies: Remuneration cannot be less than € 6 / hour.

The dedication of the students participating in the agreement must be compatible with their studies. During the teaching period, it is usually not possible to exceed 20 hours per week.

• Degree in Marketing and Digital Communities
  CURRICULAR INTERNSHIPS: 300 HOURS THROUGHOUT THE DEGREE.
  EXTRACURRICULAR INTERNSHIPS: MAXIMUM 900 HOURS PER ACADEMIC YEAR.

• Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• Postgraduate in Social Media and Digital Marketing
• Postgraduate in Transmedia Projects
  EXTRACURRICULAR INTERNSHIPS: MAXIMUM 900 HOURS PER ACADEMIC YEAR.

The steps to follow to contact TecnoCampus students are:

1. Register the company in the app TecnoCampus Talent Bag
2. Submit the offer. Once the offer has been entered, within a maximum of 5 working days, the studies coordinator will validate it
3. Interested students will submit their application.
4. You can consult their CVs online and arrange interviews directly with the candidates.
5. Once the student has been selected, the company must fill out the form that will be found in the application, under the "CREATE AGREEMENT" tab.
6. In the case of extracurricular agreements within a maximum period of 5 working days, once validated by the academic leaders, the company will receive the PDF of the agreement to be signed by both the company and the student, and send it to talent@tecocampus.cat. In the case of curricular agreements or with academic recognition, the term of 5 working days may be longer, as they will be approved as soon as the validation procedures in force are completed.

If you have a pre-selected candidate without having published an offer:

1. Access or register the company on TecnoCampus Talent Bag
2. NOTE: The student must also be registered on TecnoCampus Talent Bag
3. The company will have to fill in the Data Collection, which you will find in the application, in the tab AGREEMENTS - CREATE AGREEMENTS.
4. In the case of extracurricular agreements within a maximum period of 5 working days, once validated by the academic leaders, the company will receive the PDF of the agreement to be signed by both the company and the student, and send it to talent@tecocampus.cat. In the case of curricular agreements or with academic recognition, the term of 5 working days may be longer, as they will be approved as soon as the validation procedures in force are completed.

If the student has not reached the maximum of 900 hours of internship in the academic year, the renewal of the agreement can be requested. The steps to follow are:

1. Access TecnoCampus Talent Bag

2. The company must access the AGREEMENTS - MY AGREEMENTS tab.

3. Select the agreement you want to renew (SEE AGREEMENT - at the bottom you will find the tab to renew it)

4. In the case of extracurricular agreements within a maximum period of 5 working days, once validated by the academic leaders, the company will receive the PDF of the agreement to be signed by both the company and the student, and send it to talent@tecocampus.cat. In the case of curricular agreements or with academic recognition, the period of 5 working days may be longer, as they will be approved as soon as the validation procedures in force are completed.

The management fee for extracurricular agreements of € 100 + VAT also applies to renewals of agreements.  

You can request internship agreements throughout the academic year, but in holiday periods the deadlines are: 

CHRISTMAS: Deadline for applications is December 15th (Agreements with start date between on December 22 and January 15)

Service closure: From December 24 to January 8 (both inclusive)

EASTER: Deadline for applications March 26 (Agreements with start date between on March 31 and April 17)

Service closure: From April 1 to 10 (both inclusive)

SUMMER: Deadline for applications July 16 (Agreements with start date between on July 24 and September 16)

Closure of the service: August

NOTE: Remember that no student can start an internship without having the educational cooperation agreement approved by the university. In no case will the university be responsible for applications received outside the established deadlines. 

It is the responsibility of the student to have in force all the necessary documentation to be able to carry out internships.

In the case of students from outside the EU, it is also the student's responsibility to have the appropriate residence permit in force to be able to do the internship.

In no case will the University be responsible for the fulfillment of this requirement by the students.
