Degree in Mathematics from the UAB (1993), PhD in Information and Knowledge Society from the UOC (2012) and High School Professor of Mathematics (2010) Accredited by AQU Catalunya as a collaborating professor in the Science (2005). Cristina is a member, on the one hand, of the REMIC (Research in Mathematics and Science Education) research group on e-learning of mathematics as well as of the Joining Educational Mathematics thematic network JEM. She has been awarded the ICT WOMEN AWARD (2020) in the Dissemination category, organized by the Department of Digital Policies and Public Administrations of the Generalitat de Catalunya. And, recently, she has been awarded the Creu Casas Prize, Women for Changing the World (2022), by the Institut d'Estudis Catalans for bringing technology closer to young girls from complex and disadvantaged backgrounds, with the aim of breaking barriers and stereotypes regarding professions and career opportunities in the technological field. He has also published several articles and books on the teaching and learning of technology-related mathematics.
