Professor of Production Management, Technology and Operations at Pompeu Fabra University Fields of work: -Operations: purchasing and supplier management, quality, inventory management, distribution logistics, supply chain management, lean and just in time systems. -Commercial distribution: new sales formats, sales techniques, equipment management and commercial networks. -Consumption: new forms of employment, changes in labor relations, new patterns of consumption, changes in consumers. -Creation of companies: advice to new entrepreneurs, evaluation of business plans. Currently: -Industrial relocation: factors that motivate it (consumption trends, hidden costs, social transformations,…), tools to avoid relocations (technology, innovation,…) -New service models: Application of the Lean system to the services sector, service efficiency, improved customer service, productivity in services. -Manufacturing 4.0: future evolution of the manufacturing system, organizational changes derived, extension to SMEs, 3D. -Collaborative economy: productivity of this new economy.
