Linnk Workshop Program

New range of workshops for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Linnk Workshop program is an initiative of the TecnoCampus university centers which includes a wide variety of activities, workshops, seminars, awards and talks, aimed at offering high school students and vocational trainees practical and enjoyable ways to delve into the different areas of knowledge proposed.

Technology and Audiovisuals

  • Material tests

    Breakage tests of various metals and polymers using a didactic traction machine of 1.500 kg and a professional one of 5.000 kg.

  • Pneumatics and programmable automata

    Study of the characteristics of the different elements of a pneumatic system based on the observation, checking and manipulation of the pneumatic installation and automation using a programmable controller (PLC).

  • Electric machines and motor control automatisms

    Activities such as learning about the operation of different types of electrical machines and checking the operation of some modern electronic equipment for motor control are carried out.

  • 3d modeling

    Part 1: Introducing and explaining the character creation pipeline. Complete process of creating a 3D character (from concept to render). In this way, we increase the attention index of all future students, given that some have more interest/facility in drawing, modeling or animation, for example. It also serves to promote the degree's professional exits. Part 2 Introduction to 3d modeling with 3Ds Max. Practical modeling session in the lab. Explains the UI needed to model and model part of a character. Part 3: Closing of the workshop. The character and resolution of doubts regarding the university is exported.

  • Automatic control

    It explains the concepts of open-loop and closed-loop control, the task of controllers, the specifications of a control system. It explains the use of integration and derivation in control. A PID control is implemented on a real speed control system and a real position control system on a DC electric motor.

  • Master Linnk of mechatronics

    Theoretical-practical industrial robotics workshop held at the Schunk Tec-Center, where state-of-the-art industrial equipment is used.

  • 3D mechanical design

    Tutorials explain the functionality of the SolidWorks software in an example-based learning format.

  • Internet of Things

    Different possibilities and tools will be explored for tutoring technological research work (drones, 3d printing, prototyping, etc.). Both the different existing technological possibilities and the different methodological tools to tutor practical projects from an academic point of view will be addressed.

  • Introduction to Arduino

    We work on the introduction to the Arduino platform through applications that allow us to interact with the world around us.

  • Motion Graphics

    Mothion Graphics give greater dynamism and appeal to any audiovisual creation. In fact, nowadays they are indispensable to any television product, credit banner titles, infographics and photographs.

    In this workshop, using adobe tools (AfterEffects, Premiere and Photoshop) you will see the process of making from scratch, and different techniques and visual styles are experimented with.

    In this workshop we will learn different proposals for making a healthy breakfast or snack and we will learn what aspects we should pay attention to when choosing a healthy food.

  • Fun outdoor exercise

    In this workshop we will learn how to use the elements of the Urban Health Park to exercise and we will work on other fun proposals to be more active. We will use the environment available to us to move and exercise as a group or as a family.

  • Sex, drugs and rock&roll

    In this workshop we will question which practices linked to sex and alcohol can have an impact on our health and how to avoid risky practices, as well as the socio-emotional relationships that are linked to them.

  • Healthy habits at school age

    The activity of this workshop consists of a contextualization of the most frequent health problems in adolescents and young adults, an explanation of how science and research help us understand the causes of these problems in order to find their solutions and a collection of practical and easy-to-apply healthy tips and habits for individuals to avoid the risk of health problems.

  • Biological sex and gender identity in sport

    We work to identify what ends up defining what is socially understood as a male or female athlete (physical, behavioral, emotional characteristics, etc.). A reflection is made on whether these items determine a person's gender identity and this gives way to a lively debate on the inclusion of trans people in the 2021 Olympics.

  • Circular Economy

    New business challenges involve changes in manufacturing processes to respect the environment and become a more sustainable society. New entrepreneurs have the opportunity to create value for society and the planet. With this sustainable perspective, a workshop will be held to learn about the characteristics of product ecodesign and how they impact the environment.

  • Get to know the Tecnocampus incubators

    Workshop focused on getting to know the TecnoCampus Incubator for newly created companies. It is a 1:30 hour workshop that is divided into two parts: a first part that takes place in a classroom and explains the different spaces of the Incubator, as well as the benefits of hosting in a technological park such as the TecnoCampus. The second part is a face-to-face visit to all the spaces.

    Inspira is a workshop aimed at 1st year high school students whose purpose is to generate possible topics for research work through an active, participatory and creative dynamic that consists of different phases. It is a workshop that aims for students to reflect and take from within and share their interests, tastes and desires in order to get ideas for topics for research work.
