A total of seven companies are patrons of the awards, which will be presented in November

The TecnoCampus and Mataró City Council convene the Creatic Awards with the aim of recognizing the best business initiatives in the field of technology and innovation, to promote and support new entrepreneurial projects that contribute to sustainable growth in our territory.

The call of the Creatic Awards this year it consists of an Award for the best business initiative in the field of technology and innovation, endowed with €12.000 and a year's subsidized stay at the TecnoCampus business incubator, as well as an Award for the best business initiative led by women and an Award for the best project with social impact, both endowed with €6.000 and a year's subsidized stay in the incubator. This year the awards have a special focus on new solutions in the field of health, ICT, the circular economy, industry 4.0, the blue economy, and the video games industry, as a strategic sector of the territory.

The awards will be presented in November during the Night of Entrepreneurship, in which there will also be a recognition of entrepreneurial initiatives arising from the University and Vocational Training. Nominations for the awards can be submitted until October 5, 2022. In a first selection phase, a committee made up of representatives of TecnoCampus and other collaborating entities will select twelve finalist projects. Afterwards, the finalists will have to present the project in an elevator pitch format to the jury, who will choose the winners.

As has been happening in recent editions, the awards have the patronage of companies and institutions committed to the sustainable growth of the environment. There are seven in total: Bytemaster and ESED-Cyber ​​Security & IT Solutions (platinum category); FYR Legal, Minoryx Therapeutics and Banco Sabadell (gold category); Derecho.com and Palobiofarma (bronze category). With their support, these companies make possible the financial endowment of the awards, and thus show their commitment to entrepreneurs who are taking their first steps. The Creatic Awards are organized by TecnoCampus and Mataró City Council.

In addition to the companies that act as patrons, the initiative is supported by the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​the Department of the Vice-presidency and Digital and Territorial Policies and the Department of Business and Work of the Generalitat and collaborates with the Group of New Information and Communication Technologies Companies of Mataró and Maresme (GENTIC), the Independent Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia (AIJEC), the Federation of Associations and Business Guilds of Maresme (FAGEM), the Women's Association 't an impulse, the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, ​​BANC and PIMEC. It also has the support of the European program Start For Future, promoted by EIT Manufacturing & Urban Mobility, which will allow the winning project in the university category to enjoy an international entrepreneurial experience.
