Description


This subject corresponding to the subject COMPANY of the degree and located in the first year aims to train the future engineer in the current reality of the operation of a technological company, so that you end up having a clear idea of ​​the functional subsystems of the Industry, their processes and their management.

 

Learning outcomes


At the end of the course the student must be able to:

- To know the characteristics of the different types of companies and their economic objectives

- Understand, analyze, interpret and rigorously explain basic economic phenomena (microeconomic and macroeconomic)

- Understand and analyze the basic problems of the different areas of management of the company in its functions of administration, people management, logistics, purchasing, financing, marketing and marketing

- Solve situations in which the human factor has a noticeable effect on the results, as well as problems and decisions

- Take initiatives that generate opportunities, with a vision of process and market implementation

Working methodology


The subject consists of face-to-face classes in the classroom (large group), where the theoretical contents will be developed and practical exercises and problems will be solved, and of laboratory practices and case studies (small group), where the practical part of the activities of the subject, and deepens in the resolution of exercises and problems. Attendance at all sessions, both theoretical and practical, is mandatory.

Learning activities


Face-to-face classes in the classroom (large group): the theoretical subject will be developed and examples, problems and practical cases will be carried out.
