Description


This subject will deal with the point of view of its importance to tourism and the relationship with the city. The importance of the correct direction and management of marinas as not only tourist but also socio-economic capital of port cities

Working methodology

  4. Guided learning
  5. Discussions and forums: Online conversations. the debates have a start and end date and are facilitated by the teacher. The participation, the content of the contributions and the correct observation of the rules of use will be taken into account for the evaluation 
  6. Case study: Dynamics that start from the study of a case. The goal is to contextualize the student in a specific situation. The teacher can propose different activities, both individually and in groups, among the students
  7. Solving exercises: Non-presence activity dedicated to solving practical exercises based on the data provided by the teacher.
  8. Critical reading of articles: Students start from a working hypothesis that they will develop, following the phases of the research methodology, among which is the critical reading of articles

Learning activities


During the course, students will carry out practical continuous assessment activities that will allow them to deepen their knowledge.

Most of the activities will be based on the analysis of real cases through the handling of data with academic criteria (scientific articles, topical articles and analysis). The depth of the analysis will be a value that must be taken into account during the evaluation.

 

Evaluation system


The final grade will be the weighting of the grades of the activities carried out throughout the term.

To pass the subject, the final grade must be greater than or equal to 5 points out of 10

The evaluation will take into account the following aspects with the ratings indicated:

Virtual assessment practical exercises and compulsory forums: Total 3 (three) points.

An exam/partial work: 3 (three) points.

A final exam where the students' understanding of the subject content will be assessed: 4 (four) points

Important: The grade of the final exam must be greater than or equal to 5 (five) points out of 10 (ten) to be able to average the rest of the grade.
You can only make up the final exam. Students who do not take the final exam are not entitled to the make-up exam
