The TecnoCampus will host several activities in July as part of the third edition of Mobile Week, organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona and the Department of Digital Policies and Public Administration of the Generalitat. This is a week, from 5 to 11 July, dedicated to bringing technology closer to the public through different free activities that combine the face-to-face and digital format.

For all this, the main theme of Mobile Week 2021 in the city of Mataró will revolve around the role of technologies to successfully address the challenges posed by crises, both during its validity and in the new reality that arises. .

The inauguration of the Mobile Week will take place on July 5 at 18 pm with the session "How technology will transform the post-Covid world", which will be attended by representatives of the business and university world and will be attended by of the mayor of Mataró, Davib Bote.

The other activities will address the following topics:

  • The role of technology during crises. It is proposed to hold five talks in this field, three of which would be aimed at adults, one at seniors and one at the general public.
  • Digital professional skills: what is the market asking for? It is planned to give a talk aimed at young people.
  • Protecting our privacy and data on the internet. In this area, three talks are planned, two of which would be aimed at the adult public and the other at the general public.

Mataró City Council and the TecnoCampus are the driving forces behind Mobile Week in the city. The following entities and companies support the development of activities: EURECAT, Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Delegation of Mataró - Maresme), FAGEM (Federation of Associations and Business Guilds of the Maresme), Maresme Health Consortium, Health Foundation, Everis , GENTIC (Maresme ICT group of companies), PIMEC Maresme-Barcelonès Nord and Dona't un impuls (a group of women entrepreneurs).
