Reimagine Textile, the business innovation program aimed at the textile sector promoted by Mataró City Council, the TecnoCampus and the Eurecat technology center, makes new facilities available to entrepreneurs, startups and companies in the textile sector. incubation and a Textile Manufacturing and Prototyping Laboratory (FabLAB), for the generation of new companies and testing of new business models and prototyping of innovative products.

Reimagine Textile, the business innovation program aimed at the textile sector promoted by Mataró City Council, the TecnoCampus and the Eurecat technology center, makes new facilities available to entrepreneurs, startups and companies in the textile sector. incubation and a Textile Manufacturing and Prototyping Laboratory (FabLAB), for the generation of new companies and testing of new business models and prototyping of innovative products.

These new facilities form an innovation ecosystem that provides the technological environment, knowledge, contacts and funding opportunities to facilitate the deployment of new opportunities, both for young companies and for consolidated companies open to innovation and sustainability. .

The Reimagine Textile incubator offers six levers of growth: “plug & play” facilities equipped with the necessary technologies for young companies in the sector; specialized mentoring; training in key factors for the sector in the XNUMXst century such as the digital and green transformation of the sector; networking and connections in the textile innovation ecosystem both nationally and internationally; presence in the relevant media in their sector, and access to funding opportunities for their growth.

The FabLAB Reimagine Textile for experimentation and prototyping is located on the ground floor of the headquarters of Eurecat Mataró, connected with the Reimagine Textile incubator, the University and the Eurecat technology center, a combination that makes this space an opportunity to to its users to find the best expert technology advice and opportunities to develop business ideas.

The FabLAB space offers users a perfectly equipped cutting and tailoring area, digital manufacturing tools such as sublimation, laser cutting, embroidery and 3D printing and a projection classroom with a capacity for twelve people. In addition to professional equipment and expert staff, the FabLAB also provides the ability to find catalogs of innovative and sustainable materials and contact with trusted suppliers.

Reimagine Textile is the business innovation program aimed at the textile sector promoted by Mataró City Council, the TecnoCampus and the Eurecat technology center, within the framework of the Territorial Specialization and Competitiveness Project (PECT) of Mataró Maresme.
