Description


The TFG involves the completion, by the student, of a project, a study, a report or a work in which the knowledge, skills, competences and skills acquired are applied, integrated and developed. in the degree.

Working methodology


Theoretical sessions MD3: Presentations on contents and methodological tools for the realization of the TFG

Guided learning

MD6. Synchronous tutorials with the TFG tutor to guide the student and monitor the project.

 

Autonomous learning

MD10. Research and critical reading of articles. Students start from a working hypothesis that they will develop, following the phases of the research methodology, including the critical reading of articles.

 

MD11. Non-contact tutorials for which the student will have telematic resources such as e-mail and the resources of the virtual classroom of the TFG.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the degree in Tourism and Leisure Management, the TFG includes the seminar "Project Development" which corresponds to the subject of "Project Development" in the degree in Business Administration and Innovation Management. Students of the degree of Tourism will compulsorily attend this seminar together with the students of the degree of ADE.

All the procedure on the operation of the Seminar of “Elaboration of projects” can consult in the educational plan of the asignatura “Elaboration of projects” that will be hung in the virtual classroom.

The entire detailed procedure on the operation of the TFG is set out in the document of the “TFG regulations” which is posted on the TFG virtual classroom and on the TCM website.

This subject has methodological and digital resources to make possible its continuity in non-contact mode, in the case of being necessary for reasons related to the Covid-19. In this way, the achievement of the same knowledge and skills that are specified in this teaching plan will be ensured.


The Tecnocampus will make available to teachers and students the digital tools needed to carry out the course, as well as guides and recommendations that facilitate adaptation to the non-contact mode.

Contents

    • an entrepreneurial project of creating a company or an intrapreneurial project within an existing company or

Evaluation system


The final grade of the TFG will be obtained from different assessments:

  • TFG tutor reports: 30% of the final grade
  • Follow-up court: 20% of the final grade
  • Final Court of the TFG: 50% of the final grade

The Project Development seminar will change the grade of the TFG upwards or downwards with the following terms:

  • If the grade of the Project Development Seminar is less than 5 points out of 10, the final grade of the TFG will be reduced by 1 point.
  • If the grade of the Project Development Seminar is between 5 and 6,5 points out of 10, the final grade of the TFG will be maintained.
  • If the grade for the Project Development Seminar is between 6,6 and 8,5 points out of 10, the final grade for the TFG will be increased by 0,5 points.
  • If the grade of the Project Development Seminar is between 8,6 and 10 points out of 10, the final grade of the TFG will be increased by 1 point. 
  • If a student does not appear in the evaluation of the Project Development Seminar and the grade of the TFG is approved, automatically the final grade of the TFG will be 5 points, regardless of the average grade left.
