The TecnoCampus has started this Monday the classes of the university course 2021-2022, in which, after two courses marked by the pandemic, it is hoped that the virtual format can be gradually abandoned in favor of attendance. However, the TecnoCampus, as the set of centers attached to Pompeu Fabra University, has scheduled the course with the necessary flexibility to be able to react and comply at all times with the rules set by the health authorities in response to the evolution of the pandemic. .

To help make this return to normal in the classroom possible, the TecnoCampus collaborates with the Department of Health of the Generalitat and, as other Catalan universities have done, will have a vaccination point aimed at the entire university community, but open also to companies in the technology park and to the general public.

The vaccination campaign will take place on October 6, with the aim of achieving the highest possible degree of immunization of all citizens. There will be a single day of vaccination, in uninterrupted hours from 12 to 18 h. The exact location within the campus will be the premises located on the ground floor of the TCM3 building, which is accessed from Tordera Street.

It can be accessed by anyone over the age of 12 who has not been vaccinated or is waiting for the second dose. People who have received a first dose may receive the second as long as three weeks have elapsed since the administration of the first. Unvaccinated individuals who have passed COVID-19 may receive a dose of the vaccine when two months have elapsed since the end of the symptoms of the disease.

The peculiarity of this campaign is that, although the Department of Health will move its teams to the TecnoCampus, will be the students of 4th year of the Degree in Nursing of the School of Health Sciences responsible for vaccination, with the supervision of primary care nurses. The vaccine administered will be Pfizer and whoever is going to be vaccinated must bring their health card or some document that identifies them (DNI, NIE, passport).

In addition to contributing with this effort to spreading vaccination as much as possible, the TecnoCampus maintains strict prevention measures to make the campus and the technology park safe spaces.
