PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. European Master 's degree in Audiovisual Translation by the Università degli Studi di Parma. Master 's degree in Audiovisual Translation and Postgraduate degree in Linguistic Assessment for the Audiovisual Media by the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. She has worked as freelance translator since 1997, specialising in software and video games localisation, and in audiovisual translation since 2005. She has lectured at the Masters degree in Audiovisual Translation at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona since 2006, at the Postgraduate Course in Audiovisual translation at the Pompeu Fabra Univeristy, and at the Degree in Design and Production of Video Games at TecnoCampus University. She has also been involved in academic research in the adaptado project and in the European project EASIT. Her research interests are audiovisual translation and media accessibility (audio description), focusing on machine translation and language technologies.
