The company Lunar New Media SL (Alooha) I la Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation (TCM)  have signed a contract under which TCM will provide technological support to Alooha in the field of broadband content distribution technologies over the low voltage power grid (PLC).

This contract is part of the project called "Distribution of FHD audiovisual content through broadband PLC technology in out-of-home digital networks for the expansion of interactive digital outdoor advertising circuits developed by Alooha". EThis is a project co-financed by the Neotec II program of the Center for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI), a body under the Ministry of Science and Innovation, and of which Alooha has decided to subcontract part of the execution and technological development to Netlab, which is part of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Projects Unit of the Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation .  

At the signing ceremony of the contract, held yesterday, both the CEO of Alooha, Jorge Luna, as the general director of the TCM Foundation, Anthony Uix, highlighted the spirit of collaboration between the two organizations, and the complementarity of their areas of technological expertise, which has allowed the realization of this contract, as well as the enormous potential of practical application and solutions oriented to market needs that the results of the project must promote. 

Alooha is a company linked to TCM from its beginnings, which at the time found its headquarters for its foundation in the IMPEM incubator, and which is currently housed in the Tecnocampus Mataró-Maresme science and innovation park. Its activities consist of the deployment and operation of digital external communication circuits at the point of sale, offering the most modern and effective advertising media based on its own Digital Signage technology, and the marketing of advertising space for its own circuits.
