The CETEMMSA technology center and Applus + IDIADA have today signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of providing the automotive sector with innovations for the performance of electric cars and making them more sustainable.

The agreement provides for the development of strategic agendas to promote the "Green Car" in Catalonia and its industrialization. It also envisages presenting R&D proposals at a national and international level. In this last sense, the two entities are already participating in the E3V project that seeks energy improvement in electric vehicles.


The main technological challenge of the E3V project is to optimize the integration of all components by maximizing the efficiency of the vehicle and thus increase its autonomy, creating greater acceptance by the end user. The development of energy capture elements on flexible substrates that allow to improve the energy efficiency of electric vehicles is the goal of CETEMMSA within the E3V project which has a duration of 2 years.
