The Creatic Awards they return to theirs 23st edition to recognize and reward them best business initiatives in the field of technology and innovation. This call, organized by TecnoCampus and Mataró City Council, with the support and patronage of other companies and institutions, has as its main objective promote and support new projects entrepreneurs who contribute to the sustainable growth of our territory.

The Creatic Awards consist of three categories, in the field of technology and innovation, for University Entrepreneurship of the Tecnocampus, and for the best entrepreneurial project of FP students of the educational centers of Mataró.

The Creatic Awards, in their first category, award the Award to the best business initiative in the field of technology and innovation, which consists of a cash prize of 12.000€ and a year of subsidized stay in the TecnoCampus business incubator. In addition, two additional awards will be presented: the Award for the best business initiative led by women and the Award for the best project with social impact, both endowed with 6.000€ and a year of subsidized stay in the incubator.

This year, the awards have a special look towards new solutions in strategic areas such as health, ICT, cyber security, 3D printing and other technologies for Industry 4.0, blue economy, circular economy and the video game industry. These sectors are of vital importance for the development and future of our territory, and we seek to recognize those entrepreneurs who are innovating and generating a positive impact in these areas.

The awards will be presented during the Night of Entrepreneurship, which will be held in November. During this event, other entrepreneurial initiatives arising from the University and Vocational Training will also be recognized, and the Antena TrenLab awards will also be given, the second edition of which has recently been announced. It will be an evening where the talent and creativity of the entrepreneurs in our ecosystem will be highlighted.

To participate in the Creative Awards, nominations can be submitted until October 10 of this year In a first selection phase, a committee made up of representatives of the TecnoCampus and other collaborating entities will be in charge of selecting the twelve finalist projects. Subsequently, the finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects in an "elevator pitch" format before a jury, which will be in charge of choosing the winners.

It is important to highlight that the Creatic Awards have the valuable support from eight companies committed to the development of our environment. These companies are ESED-Cyber ​​Security & IT Solutions in the platinum category; FYR Legal, Minoryx Therapeutics, Palobiofarma and Banco Sabadell in the gold category; CSV Experts in the silver category; and Derecho.com and Ambisort in the bronze category. All of them make possible the financial endowment of the prizes and demonstrate their commitment to entrepreneurial people.

In addition to the companies that act as patrons, the initiative is supported by the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​ACCIÓ and the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Department of Business and Work of the Generalitat and the Group of New Information and Communication Technologies Companies of Mataró and Maresme (GENTIC), the Independent Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia (AIJEC), the Federation of Associations and Business Guilds of the Maresme (FAGEM), the Association Give yourself a boost, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, BANC, PIMEC and EURECAT. It also has the support of the European program Start For Future, promoted by EIT Manufacturing & Urban Mobility, which will allow the winning project in the university category to enjoy an international entrepreneurial experience.
